Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif reject allegations with regards to spot fixing scandal

There is a twist in the tale as Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif have denied their involvement in the spot-fixing scandal in their initial investigation done by Pakistan Cricket Board.The two accused players were presented charge sheets after provisionally suspended to take no further part in ongoing  Pakistan Super League. The players were sent back to Pakistan after their alleged links to bookies to carry out spot-fixing in the league.

Pakistan Cricket Board has stated that the three-member tribunal has been setup to hear the case and hand out their verdict on the issue. The issue is quite is big blow to Pakistan as the side had been in the middle of any such controversy since the last debacle in England that saw three players in Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Amir and Salman Butt banned for life.Sharjeel Khan had sealed his place as a regular for Pakistan in all three formats while Khalid Latif was part of T20 side for a while now.
