Shahid Afridi picks Sarfaraz Ahmed to lead Pakistan in all three formats in future

Pakistan’s great all-rounder Shahid Afridi has picked Sarfaraz Ahmed to be named as the captain for the national side for all the three formats of the game. Afridi said that the wicket-keeper batsman has right attitude and skills to lead Pakistan for a long time.

The all-rounder stated that he is done for good from international cricket and will now operate as freelancer playing around the world in the T20 leagues. Shahid Afridi stated that he is working hard to maintain best fitness to be ready for the second edition of the Pakistan Super League that will start from 9th February on Thursday. Imran Khan also lauded Afridi for his longevity in the game and cited him as a role model for youngster and as a source of inspiration.

Pakistan Super League 2017 will commence from next week as the first game will see reigning champions Islamabad United face off Peshawar Zalmi in the tournament.
