Pakistan’s legendary player Mohammad Yusuf demands Micky Arthur to be removed as coach of Pakistan side
|Pakistan Legendary batsman Mohammad Yusuf has criticized Mickey Arthur’s position as Head Coach of Pakistan following their massive 124-run defeat against India. Pakistan proved to be a failure in all three departments as India piled on the runs to score 320 overs in 48 overs. The rains did break play the role of a spoilsport but Yusuf questioned Arthur’s tactics as he believed he saw nothing new from Pakistan in such a big game against India.
Yusuf stated that Arthur has not produced any results since being selected as the coach of Pakistan Cricket Team since tour to England. The side are currently lying eight in the ICC ODI Team Rankings with only series win coming against West Indies and Zimbabwe in the last couple of years. He said that team selection was bizarre for the game against India and was bemused by the ouster of left-arm seamer Junaid Khan from the side.
Mohammad Yusuf also stated Sachin Tendulkar was a better one day batsman than Virat Kohli stating that Little Master scored runs against strong teams in all conditions against pace and spin bowlers. He said that quality of players at the moment are not the same as it used to be in the 90s era.
