Pakistan Super League set to become first T20 league to use Decision Review System for playoff games

Pakistan Super League is all set to become the first T20 League to make use of Decision Review System (DRS) for the upcoming playoff games of the competition. The announced was made Pakistan Super League Chairman Najam Sethi who said that decision has been taken to make sure that result is fair for both sides and to reduce any on-field mistakes that can change the course of a game.

Quetta will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the first playoff at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday while Karachi Kings will square off against Islamabad United in an eliminator on Wednesday. The Decision Review System will be used to remove any bad decision made by the on-field umpires after a couple of howlers committed in the preliminary games of the tournament.
