Pakistan Cricket Board suggests Misbah-ul-Haq to retire after the series in West indies

Pakistan Cricket Board has laid down clears for forward as chairman Shaharyar Khan stated that Misbah-ul-Haq has been requested to step down and retire after the series in the Caribbean to be played in the month of April and May.

Shaharyar said that Misbah has been retained for the upcoming series against West Indies after player expressed his views after conclusion of Pakistan Super League 2017.The Chairman stated that there comes a point in time when a player has to decide to leave the 22-yard circle for good. Pakistan Cricket Broad made a decision to retain Misbah so that captain can end his career on a high rather been given a unceremonious exit like his predecessors such as Waqar Younis and Shahid Afridi.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman also said that staging cricket in Pakistan is a distant dream at the current moment even after staging a grand finale of Pakistan Super League 2017.He said that the board has shown the capacity and assured full security to foreign teams if they are willing to come to Pakistan to play cricket in future.
