Former Pakistani greats criticize PCB’s decision to stage Pakistan Super League finale in Lahore

Pakistan Cricket Board announcement of staging the grand finale of Pakistan Super League 2017 has come under criticisms by former great players like Javed Miandad and Aamir Sohail calling it a futile exercise in efforts to bring international cricket back to home soil. World Cup winning captain Imran Khan also termed the decision as ludicrous as the county situation is far from ideal given the recent terrorist attacks that rocked the country few weeks back.

Miandad expressed his concerns that organizing the final in Lahore of Pakistan Super League will not create any concrete steps towards bringing international cricket back to Pakistan.Aamir Sohail also stated that Pakistan Cricket Board has taken a big risk in their attempt to stage the final of Pakistan Super League as any untoward incident could on the given day could cause more harm to cricket in Pakistan.
