Fast bowler Sohail Khan dropped from Pakistan squad for upcoming series against West Indies
|Pakistani pacer Sohail Khan has been axed from all the forms of the game from the tour to West Indies after the bowler got into a huge spat with bowling Coach Azhar Mahmood. Chief Selector and Head Coach denied such news as they said Sohail need to work on fitness but on the contrary there were reports floating around that the pacer got into a verbal argument with Mickey Arthur and Azhar Mahmood while playing for Karachi Kings in the second edition of Pakistan Super League.
Sohail Khan accused Azhar of giving him a hard time in the competition and was rather lenient on guys like Muhammad Amir and Wahab Riaz. The issue is still not clear as it is largely claimed by the Pakistan Cricket Board key personnel that Khan had to work on his fitness as he had gone out of favor for the coming tours and series. Sohail Khan was named the best bowler of the Pakistan Super League 2017 and bowled splendidly well in all games played for Karachi Kings.
Sohail Khan since his comeback to the side has truly raked some impressive numbers as he took 27 wickets in 9 Test matches while grabbing 19 wickets from 13 one day internationals.
